Occupy Wall Street has set up a free university. I think this is pretty rad—in fact, a very-similar idea is central to the premise of the novel I wrote after Noise, which I wrapped up well before Occupy got going (at least, well before we all really started hearing about it). It’s a neat coincidence, even if it is a little freak-inducing.
Darin Bradley is the author of Noise. He holds a B.A. in Language and Composition, an M.A. in Literature and Literary Criticism, and a Ph.D. in English Literature and Theory. He has taught courses on writing and literature at East Tennessee State University, Furman University, and the University of North Texas. Currently, he is the full-time writer for id software.
